My cat peed on my carpet so I took 50% WHITEvinegar and 50% water and sprayed the area. Then I dried the area with paper towels till almost dry. I put down enough baking soda to cover the area and then drizzled 1/2 cup peroxide mixed with 2 teaspoons of liquid dish soap. I worked this in with gloves on my hands. I worked it in real well, I allowed it to dry and then just vacuumed the spot up taking away the whiteness of the baking soda. After I HAD APPLIED THE ABOVE APPLICATION THE SMELL WAS GONE ALMOST INSTANTLYU EVEN IT IT WAS STILL WET.
